1. The standard we build to

This site is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as its working target. In practice that means the things below are checked as pages are built rather than retrofitted afterward.

• Text and background colors are checked for contrast, on every ground the site uses
• Every image that carries meaning has a text alternative; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them
• The site is navigable by keyboard alone, with visible focus styles
• Headings are structured in order, so a screen reader's outline of a page matches the visible one
• Forms have real labels, and expandable sections (like the FAQ accordions) use native HTML controls that assistive technology already understands
• Text can be resized to 200 percent without breaking the layout

2. Known limitations

The interactive service-area map is a third-party component and may be difficult with a screen reader; every town on it is also listed as an ordinary text link on the same page, so nothing is reachable only through the map. Photographs of tree conditions carry descriptive alt text, but a diagnosis should never depend on seeing a photo — call us and describe what you see instead.

3. The phone always works

Everything this website does — estimates, scheduling, questions — can be done entirely by phone at 402-332-2839. Nobody needs to use this site to become a customer or to get the same free estimate.

4. Tell us what is broken

If a page on this site does not work with your assistive technology, we want the specifics: the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. Call 402-332-2839 or use the contact page. Accessibility reports go to the people who actually maintain the site, and fixes are prioritized like defects, because that is what they are.
