We carry general liability for your property and workers' compensation on every employee on every crew, so an accident in your yard never becomes a claim against your homeowner's policy. Anything sprayed, injected or applied is done under a Nebraska commercial applicator license, with the treatment records the state requires.

How to check any tree company
Ask for both certificates, and ask for them to come straight from the insurance agency, not as a forwarded file. Check that the dates are current and that your address is named on them. Then ask whether the people in your yard are employees or a subcontracted crew. It takes about ten minutes, and it works on us and on everyone else bidding your job.

How do I get your certificates?
Ask, and they go out the same business day, direct from our insurance agency rather than as a file we forward. Call 402-332-2839 or ask at the estimate.
Can I be named as certificate holder?
Yes, and you should ask every bidder for this, not only us. It puts your address on the document and means you are notified directly if the policy is cancelled.
Does Nebraska license tree services?
The state does not license arborists or tree companies as such. What it does license is pesticide application, which is why the applicator license matters on any treatment work.
Do you use subcontractors?
Not on residential tree work. The crews are Eden employees. On the rare specialist job that needs an outside crane operator, they carry their own coverage and we will tell you before the day.
What happens if you damage something?
You hear it from the crew lead before they leave, it goes to our liability carrier, and the repair is arranged. It is not deducted from your invoice.
Do you carry coverage in Iowa too?
Yes. Council Bluffs, Carter Lake, Crescent, Glenwood and Missouri Valley are ordinary service areas and the coverage follows the crew across the river.
