Most of what goes wrong with a tree was decided years before anybody noticed. An hour, early, is worth more than a crew, later.
Eden Tree Pros3 experienced arborists on staff
No sales visit dressed up as advice
The fee is what makes it independent. We have no reason to find you a removal.
Written up if you want it written up
Some people want a conversation in the yard. Some need something they can forward.
What people ask about
Diagnosis
What is actually wrong with the tree, rather than what a treatment sheet would like it to be.
Second opinions
Somebody has quoted a removal and you want that checked before you sign it.
Construction impact
A patio, an addition or a trench, and which roots that puts at risk.
Species selection
What to plant where, given the soil, the utilities and the next forty years.
Long-term planning
A property with mature trees and no plan, turned into a sequence with dates on it.
Disputes
A shared tree, a neighbor, a builder. An independent read that is written down.
One visit, one arborist, and whatever is standing in the yard is fair game.
Honestly, most people want the free estimate
Get a free estimateFree, and probably what you want
An estimate visit
You know roughly what you need
Pruning, a removal, a stump. An arborist still walks it with you.
You want the price in writing
Scope and cost, before anything is booked, at no charge.
The tree looks unwell
Most plant health problems get identified on a free visit anyway.
You are comparing companies
Get ours alongside the others. It costs nothing to add us to the list.
Paid, and worth it when
A consultation
You want an answer, not a price
The deliverable is the judgment. No work has to follow it.
Somebody else has quoted
An independent read on a removal you were told you needed.
Something is being built
Root protection has to be planned before the excavator arrives, not after.
You need it in writing
For a neighbor, an insurer, a buyer or an attorney.
Still not sure? Call us and describe it. We will point you at the cheaper one when the cheaper one is right.
What people take away from an hour
“Eden Tree Pros went above and beyond for us. We had a lot of tree trimming and removal work that needed to be done. They responded quickly to our request for an itemized quote and then got the work done quickly and professionally.”

Ask us something elseWhat is the difference between a consultation and a free estimate?
A free estimate prices work we would do. A consultation is an hour of an arborist's time on a question, and it ends in an answer whether or not any work follows. Most people who ask about consultations actually want the free estimate, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than book you into the paid one.
How much does a consultation cost?
It depends on the property and what you need at the end of it — a conversation on site is different from a written report with photographs. We quote it before booking, and the fee is credited against work if you go on to have us do it. Ask when you call and you will get a number, not a range.
Can you tell me what to plant?
That is one of the most useful hours anybody buys from us. Species selection in this metro is not a matter of taste — soil pH runs high enough that pin oak and river birch go chlorotic, ash is off the table while emerald ash borer is here, and the utility easement decides mature height for you. An arborist standing in the spot can narrow it to a short list that will still be there in 2057.
We are building. When should we call you?
Before the plans are final, and certainly before anything is dug. Most construction damage to trees happens below ground and does not show for three to five years, by which point nobody connects the dying oak to the trench that cut a third of its roots. A root protection plan is cheap at design stage and impossible afterwards.
Do you give second opinions on other companies' quotes?
Regularly, and we try to be fair about it. Sometimes the other company is right and we say so. What we will not do is undercut a correct recommendation to win the job, and we will not confirm a removal that is not needed because confirming it would be worth more to us.
Tell us the question and we will tell you which visit answers it.
