Two days of lead beats two hours
The application needs time to dry and settle, and the re-entry interval must be well behind you before guests arrive. Morning-of spraying is a worse product and we will say so.
Rain on the buffer day is manageable
A shower after the product has dried does little. A downpour right behind the application is a re-spray conversation, and we watch the radar with you.
We cannot beat a wet week entirely
A week of standing water everywhere raises the whole neighborhood's pressure. The treated yard will still be the best yard on the block that evening — that is the honest claim.

How long does the protection last?

What if it rains after the treatment?

Is it safe with food and guests?
